Completing Requests Using "Pending Access Requests":

If you are designated as a Trusted Source, it is your responsibility to handle Access Requests for your company.

When an Access Request is made, you will receive notification by email. You will also see Access Requests listed in the "Pending" tab of your landing page once you sign into the Portal. Each individual request will show as a box in the "Requests I am a Trusted Source For" section.  Each box contains the requestors name, company and the application they are requesting access to.

 

Denying an Access Request:

If you do not recognize the person requesting access then you will want to click the "Deny" button to reject their request.  It is helpful for tracking to enter a comment describing why you are rejecting access.

 

Approving an Access Request:

If you recognize the user you can grant them access to the requested application by clicking on the "Approve" button.  When you do a pop up window will appear containing options for assigning roles.   You can assign one or more roles by checking the box next to the role and clicking "Approve".  This will grant their roles and send them an email notifying them that they have been approved.

Some common roles are:

TSAdmin: Allows user to delegate/revoke user access, and view submissions for the selected company.

ABC_Submitter: Allows user to submit and view submissions for the selected company.

ABC_Reviewer: Allows user to view submissions for the selected company.

ABC_Approver: Allows user to approve submissions for the selected company.

Additional custom roles may be available in various applications.

 

Accessing Delegated Admin:

At some point it may be necessary to access the full delegated administration application to check a role, change a role or to revoke a role.  To do that, click "Admin" from the menu at the upper right of the screen and choose "Control Panel"

 

From the control panel choose "Delegated Admin"

 

By default you will only see entries for "Pending" requests.  You can see other types of requests by changing the drop down under "Status". You can user the filter boxes and drop downs along with the filter button to easily find the users you are looking for.  When you find the user you want to change, simply click the link in the "status" column.  (It will be their current status, pending, approved etc)

From the change roles screen, select which roles you want a user to have.  The system will automatically remove any roles that are not checked and add any roles that are when you click update. 

Once you have made all of your changes and get a confirmation you can click cancel to go back to the previous pending screen.
